چکیده

Introduction. General anesthesia is frequently employed in neck surgery procedures. However, patients at high risk for general anesthesia, regional options, such as the superficial cervical plexus block, warrant careful consideration. Patients with mediastinal lymph node enlargement face an elevated of airway obstruction and hemodynamic instability during induction. In selected surgeries, including thyroglossal cyst excision, fistula repair, bronchial removal, thyroidectomy, block presents a viable secure alternative to anesthesia. Case report. This report details case patient lymphadenopathy multiple brain metastases who underwent excision. Given patient?s severe comorbidities, pronounced complete distal obstruction, instability, potential compression effects from mass, was administered. facilitated effective perioperative analgesia without inducing respiratory or cardiovascular instability. Conclusion. The emerges prudent high-risk necessitating excision Its utilization should be considered cases enhance safety management.

The ultrasound-guided superficial cervical plexus block for anesthesia and analgesia in emergency care settings.

The ultrasound-guided superficial cervical plexus (SCP) block may be useful for providers in emergency care settings who care for patients with injuries to the ear, neck, and clavicular region, including clavicle fractures and acromioclavicular dislocations. The SCP originates from the anterior rami of the C1-C4 spinal nerves and gives rise to 4 terminal branches--greater auricular, lesser occi...

Background and Objectives: Patients undergoing thyroid surgery need postoperative pain management. Bilateral superficial cervical plexus block (BSCBs) has been shown to improve postoperative analgesia. The objective of this study was to assess its analgesic efficacy in the first 24 hours after thyroid surgery alone and when combined with bilateral deep cervical plexus block (BDCBs). Methods: We...
